Every beginning student starts with Twinkle, and its variations. Here are some links to some great, and not so great, resources to view online. Feel free to let me know if you have found any other links you think should be added. Also, please remember that YouTube is a great resource, but it should never replace the original Suzuki reference recordings. Universally, the Suzuki albums our the target for pitch, tempo, and tone.
First off, here is a link to some historical information about the piece. The version we learn was adapted for the instrument, as listed in the method book. Mozart wrote a piano adaptation of the melody, with 12 variations. You can listen here. I have also found sheet music for other arrangements of Mozart’s variations, including one for solo violin.
